Vamdeva said.

वामदेव उवाच ।
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं वामदेवः कृताञ्जलिः ।
जीवन्मुक्तपदोपायं कथयस्वेति पृच्छति ॥ १ ॥
ईश्वर उवाच ।
परं ज्ञानमहं वच्मि येन तत्त्वं प्रकाशते ।
येन संछिद्यते सर्वं मायापाशादिबन्धनम् ॥२॥
आधारादिषु पत्रेषु सुषुम्णादिषु नाडिषु ।
माणादिषु शरीरेषु परं तत्त्वं न तिष्ठति ॥ ३ ॥
तत्प्रयोगरताः केचित्केचिद् ध्यानविमोहिताः ।
जपेन केचित्क्लिश्यन्ति नैव जानन्ति तारकम् ॥ ४
अमनस्कखण्डे ।
न मीमांसातर्कग्रहगणितसिद्धान्तपठनै- र्न बेदैर्वेदान्तैः स्मृतिभिरभिधानैरपि न च ।
तथापि च्छन्दोव्याकरणकवितालङ्कृतिमयै- सुने तत्त्त्रावाप्तिर्निजगुरुमुखादेव विदिता ॥ ५॥
